Hey there! I’m Maddy Jean, the proud owner of Maddy Jean PMU & Pretty Mogul, hailing from Orlando, Florida. As a Senior Master Artist and Educator, I specialize in the permanent makeup industry. I have a reputation for simplifying complex beauty techniques and business strategies into straightforward, step-by-step methods. My passion is to help my students not only become leaders within the PMU industry but also create independent, joyful lives.
I’ve been deeply immersed in the beauty industry since 2007, and my journey into micropigmentation began in 2016. Over the years, I’ve explored nearly every technique out there, gaining valuable experience in the process.
Let me share a bit about my personal journey. Things weren’t always rosy. When I first embarked on this path, I was a young mother of three boys, navigating life with limited financial resources and wrestling with fear and self-doubt. My initial training experience was far from ideal. I fell victim to an unethical school and trainers who left me thousands of dollars poorer and without the skills to perform even the simplest procedures.
But here’s the inspiring part: I didn’t give up. I was on a mission to overcome my financial struggles through this industry.
I firmly believed that if others could do it, so could I. I embarked on an unwavering quest to seek out top artists and acquire the knowledge and skills I needed. This journey, which initially started as a desperate solution to recover from an eyebrow-shaving mishap during my childhood, transformed into one of the most significant decisions of my life. I invested substantial time and resources, traveling to learn from elite artists, and dedicating countless hours to develop a blueprint and a step-by-step formula that can help you achieve your goals more rapidly than I did.
Initially, my focus was on eyebrows. However, I was pleasantly surprised when many women began inquiring if I offered lip blushing services. Though I didn’t provide lip blushing at the time, I was resolute about meeting my clients’ desires. So, I dove headfirst into extensive training, dedicating myself to mastering the art of lip blushing. Today, lip blush accounts for more than half of my income, and I’ve had the privilege of training numerous students who have gone on to become successful lip blush artists. Maddy has stopped providing the invasive “manual soft tap” procedure over 4 years ago and has found that micropigmentation lush technique is THE BEST and most innovative way to create lips. This provides the clients with better healed results, most natural looks, does not cut or scar the skin like soft tap , does not keloid and colors heal more vibrant. Lush actually enhances and stimulates collagen. Don’t get fooled by the “soft tab manual” term as that is the wave of the past and is slowly becoming a frowned upon procedure.
